The People vs. Poison Rally

Farm Action President Angela Huffman will speak at The People vs. Poison Rally outside the U.S. Supreme Court, a bipartisan event bringing together advocates, policymakers, and ally organizations to demand that those harmed by chemical companies are able to seek justice.

The rally will take place as the Court hears oral arguments in Monsanto v. Durnell, a pivotal case centered on whether federal pesticide approvals can override state laws that allow people to sue when companies fail to warn about known risks.

Huffman, a sixth-generation Ohio farmer, will speak on behalf of farmers, farm workers, and rural communities who are on the frontlines of pesticide exposure, explaining why those closest to our food production face high risks and deserve a pathway to justice.
