Joann serves as Chief Operating Officer, directing internal operations, financial strategy, and organizational systems to empower her team to advance a fairer food and agriculture system.

She brings over 15 years of executive leadership and operational experience in mission-driven organizations, specializing in nonprofit finance, compliance, human resources, and multi-state administration. Dedicated to long-term organizational sustainability, Joann believes that a resilient infrastructure and strong foundation enable nonprofits to fully commit to supporting the communities they serve.

She holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Monroe College and an MBA in Accounting and Human Resources from the University of Phoenix.

Originally from the Bronx, Joann currently resides in North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, volunteering at a local farm, and traveling whenever possible.
